 Personal Project: Stuck With You Felt, thread 9" x 8" (each panel) In-Process Image: Artist Statement: This artwork entitled Stuck With You  is about growing up and living life a twin. The panels are made from felt stitching. The panels start in the first stage of life, as babies, then it progresses to sleeping in "big girl beds", then driving your own cars, then graduating, and then living on your own. Each panel has a pink side and a purple side, each color representing one twin. The panels showing the duality of being a twin, everything comes in twos. In the beginning, everything is done together emphasized by the abundance of colors in the elements. In the ending panels, the color is still apparent but is not the main focus, emphasizing the separation that continues to develop as twins grow up and grow into their own identities. They will always be connected, but they will be more separate.
